Auditions Instruction

Location: Dance Mission Theatre, Studio 3, 3316 24th St., S.F.

Before the Audition:  

• Please complete and return audition registration form. Include a resume describing your dance / performing arts backgrounds. Upon Receipt of your registration, a staff will notify you of your order of audition for individual and group presentations. All registration materials must be received at the CCP office by Friday November 22, 2002.
• You may send your materials through U.S. mail, fax or e-mail.

• Individual presentation: Please prepare 2 minute dance presentatin using your own dance style and demonstrating your basic dance techniques from your previous training. Bring an audition CD or audiotape with your music selection. To save time, please do not have any other music other than your presentation music on the CD or audiotape.
• Group Presentation: We will split dancers into several small groups, and ask you to follow one of our Principal Dancer's movements. This is to demonstrate your ability to catch and absorb and new dance style as well as your ability to work as a team member within an ensemble.
