The Lily Cai Dance Academy introduces students, parents and teachers to the classical, folk, and contemporary dances of China. These programs were conceived and designed to complement many subjects and areas of study included in the educational curriculum of K-12 schools.
Although dance training is the core of the teaching, many tangents branch off, entwine, and complement each other in such a way that the educational possibilities are boundless. There is enrichment to and extension of existing school curriculums in areas of study related to: Dance Education, Social Studies, Geography, Folklore, & Performance Arts.
With parental permission, participating students are also encouraged to perform for special events hosted by the school or different city-sponsored youth arts festivals throughout the school year.
The Lily Cai Dance Academy offers several on-site school packages for students during or after school.
